Besides BRISNET, there are other organizations that also provide their own version of PPs, such as the Daily Racing Form (DRF). All PPs provide the same information; however, the difference lies in other additions such as speed and pace figures and race ratings. Below is an example of how to read the DRF’s PP:

I find that I prefer reading the BRISNET Ultimate PPs with comments because those have the most comprehensive information that is more easily digestable. The BEYER speed figures in the DRF are much different than BRISNET’s speed ratings. I don’t know which ones are more accurate or reliable. However, the DRF provides a different perspective and tool that is also useful for handicapping.
